The relations between Tunisia and the EU are defined by the Association Agreement, signed in 1995, the 2014 Mobility Partnership, and the EU-Tunisia Strategic Priorities adopted in 2018, which reiterate the EU’s commitment to strengthening the democratic transition and the socio-economic development of Tunisia.

SIGMA, the EC and the Tunisian authorities agreed a work programme in December 2022 that gives priority to co-operating with.

  • The Presidency of the Government, the General Agency for Monitoring Public Programmes (IGSPP), on the development of a monitoring framework for major reforms.

  • The Directorate General of Administrative Reforms (DGRPA) on developing a strategic framework for public administration reforms.

  • The Ecole Nationale d'Administration, the national school of public administration on its future strategic orientation and the implementation of its activities.

  • The Court of Accounts on the implementation of its strategic priorities.

  • The High Authority of Public Procurement (HAICOP) on innovative public procurement.
