The relations between Tunisia and the EU are defined by the Association Agreement, signed in 1995, the Action Plan for the Privileged Partnership, and the Joint Communication of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and the European Commission: “Renforcer le soutien de l’UE à la Tunisie”, underlining the determination of the EU to further support Tunisia.SIGMA, the EC and the Tunisian authorities agreed a work programme in January 2021 that gives priority to co-operating with:
