Baseline Measurement high-level kick-off event held on 23 September 2015 in Chisinau, Moldova

 

The Prime Minister's Office, supported by the EU Delegation in Chisinau, has asked SIGMA to carry out a review and evaluation of the public administration in Moldova in the areas covered by the SIGMA Principles of Public Administration: Strategic Framework of Public Administration Reform, Policy Development and Co-ordination, Public Service and Human Resource Management, Accountability, Service Delivery and Public Financial Management including Public Procurement .  The findings and recommendations of the SIGMA review will help the Government to design, prioritise, sequence and implement reforms, and the EU Delegation to plan public administration reform assistance.

A high-level kick-off event took place on 23 September 2015.  The conference was opened by the Prime Minister of Moldova, Mr. Valeriu Streleț, the EU Ambassador to Moldova, Mr. Pirkka Tapiola and the Head of SIGMA, Ms. Karen Hill.  Participants included high-level representatives of all of the central public administration institutions in Moldova.
